Joe Johnson is a former professional baseball pitcher turned Time Magazine creative director, now an artist. He honed his craft at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. After retiring from Time, he shifted his focus to sculpture, painting, and screenwriting.
As a craftsman, he transforms raw timber into stunning works of art. Specializing in equine and architectural sculptures, he masterfully combines texture and structure. City Blocks offers a playful look at architectural forms from the inside out.
