Breaking Through Summertime

This painting was inspired by my nephew’s wife who struggled with the idea of having children later in life. I wanted to depict an image of moving forward through life with anticipation of all of the stages. Spring being youth, summer being adulthood, etc. and that the season of fall is a beautiful season for women that should be looked forward to as women we come into ourselves and have a strong sense of who we are and what we want out of the rest of our lives. Which is something to break into with vigor, grace and anticipation.
