I was chosen as an “Emerging Artist” by Artigras 2023 for my work in Oil and Cold Wax. My most recent body of work is Mixed Media incorporating Alcohol Ink and Embroidery, entitled “Ink and Knots”. Many of my pieces have a 3D effect, wherein 3 layers of the synthetic paper are burned with a wood burning tool, then painted with alcohol ink, varnished, then enhanced with French Knots, creating a beautiful whimsical abstract.
