Hope

I am Renata Rodrigues and my main inspiration is nature. Ever since I can remember I was interested in paintings of humans and animals together. The bond between us is something that always fascinated me. As a child, I lived by a piece of Atlantic forest and I had many pets. They made me feel like I am part of this universe, giving me sense of belonging. Portraying these emotions onto canvas makes me feel alive.
When I paint, I use diluted acrylics, transforming colors as I paint layers upon layers, using delicate glazes to create depth and luminosity, as if I’m meditating.
My portfolio also includes public art, fine art commissioned paintings, murals and an array of different creative projects. I absolutely love bringing a client’s idea to life and collaborating with like minded individuals.
